The Bluestone Group creates custom concrete skate parks by professionals who design, build, and then skate the parks we envision. Upon completion of your project your community will be left with a top notch skate park that integrates with its surroundings, and provides a safe place for skaters to enjoy for years to come. With more than 12 million people actively participating in skateboarding, it is essential for communities to have designated spaces for skateboarding to ensure safety. The Bluestone Group can help you with all phases of implementation of a safe, dynamic park that features enjoyable and challenging elements for skaters of all levels.

Bluestone Group finished their third skatepark in the Pittsburgh metro area November of 2007. The Southpark skatepark is the third park completing the Pittsburgh trifecta of skateparks, which include: Findlay Township skatepark, Boyce Action Park, and The Southpark Action Park. These three skateparks are the only concrete skateparks in western Pennsylvania and all three parks offer different challenges for the novice and advanced skateboarder. Including bowls, snake runs, backyard pool, oververt, ledges, stairs, and rails. There is more information about the Pittsburgh projects and newspaper article about Findlay Township Skatepark in our projects page

Findlay Township Skatepark. Completed Spring 2006

"Best thing to happen to Pittsburgh since Cowher.... This was the best time we had skating...ever. This place will blow your mind. You don't even have to drop in. Just roll thru the course. There is kidney shaped bowl, a roll-in "snake" course (insane!) and a center section that caters to us novices." - killafreeze - www.Concretedisciples.com Forum
